How to wear Yellow Sapphire Ring? This stone should be a minimum of 3 ½ carets in shape and set in silver, gold and copper. This should be worn on a Thursday after purifying it with unboiled milk and worn on the index finger of the right hand at the time of sunrise after touching the stone on a plantain and after praying to favorite god and chanting guru mantra. The Guru Mantra or Mantra of Jupiter is
"OM GURU DEVAYA VIDHMAHE, PARABRAHMANE DHEEMAHEE, THANNO GURU PRACHODAYAT" and "OM HRAAM HREEM HROUM SAHA BRUHASPATHAYE NAMAHA"
This mantra should be recited every Thursday during the first hour from sunrise for 9 continuous Thursdays to charge the stone.The best effects of the stone is up to four years from the day of wearing it. However, It is advisable not to wear Yellow Sapphire with Emerald and Diamond.

how can one determine that yellow sapphire is original and not a substitute of it?
If kept in milk for 24 hours the genuine yellow sapphire does not change color. If exposed to sunlight the stone gives a yellow hue to the spot where the light is reflected. Also you may buy Gemstones with GIA Certification.
I am a Piscean and would like to know if I can wear yellow sapphire.

I was advised to wear yellow sapphire-3 carats on index finger as Jupiter is weak, and am having lots of problems with finances and married life. My question to you is I will find it difficult to wear on finger. Would it be okay to wear as pendant around my neck. Thank you kindly for all your help.
@Maulik : It is advisable you wear a single stone weighing 3.5 carets than 2 stones
@Manisha It is advisable to wear the stone set in a ring as they could be worn on the finger denoting the particular planet.
However, If that is not an option you may wear it as a pendant.

In reference to the above post regarding wearing pendant instead of ring of yellow sapphire, would it still have the same effect if worn as pendant? @Manisha The answer is no. Try buying through reputed Jewelry Stores where they give a Certificate of Authenticity. Even you can buy online from sellers who provide that.

However, Emerald should suit you as it is your Birthstone and also the gemstone of the planet which signifies love and relationships. Rose Quartz would be beneficial to you too.
