A Rudraksha also protects the wearer from several diseases because of its medicinal properties.
There are several types of Rudraksha Beads based on the clefts or faces on the surface of the beads. The clefts or facets on the rudraksha bead are referred to as ‘mukhi’. The best Rudrakshas available in the market are from Nepal with clearly defined faces and is a favorite with Rudraksha Sellers. Given below is a short description of rudraksha bead types.

@malabika No to Both.
Can rudrani mala be weared everyday during the period time and can we take non veg wearing rudrani mala, please advise asap.
Thanks Anamika. I dont have a Rudraksha mala, hence can i keep the Rudrani mala alone near shiv parvathi photo and worship it?
@Deeksha Rudrani beads are considered as the female counterpart of Rudraksha. It is kept in puja rooms along with Rudraksha and worshiped instead of wearing.
Hi, i bought a rudrani mala recently and was told that we could keep it in the pooja room and worship everyday. I may not be able to wear it because we go out to office and may touch other people who have visited a funeral or maybe menstruating. I had 2 questions where i'd like your help:
1) Can the rudrani mala be kept in the pooja room and worshipped everyday, instead of wearing it?
2) Should the rudrani mala be kept along with the rudraksha mala or can the rudrani mala alone be kept with the other deities in the pooja room and worshipped?
Please advise.
I have so far seen Rudrani Mala only of Orange in color. Rudrani Beads are the female aspect of the Rudraksha representing Lord Shivas ability to manifest Shakti. It is only natural that the rudraksha beads change color after some time after wearing. Rudraksha can come in smaller sizes. But those are more costlier than the normal sized beads.
RUDRANI AND RUDRAKSHA DIFFERENCES
i have 4-5mm mala for around the neck. were light brown when i got it now its dark maroon brown.
are they rudrani or rudraksha?
can rudraksha come in small sizes or only larger ones?
im worried. i wanted small rudraksha beads from nepal( not sure if nepal have small sizes)
GREAT MAM,ITS VERY USEFULL ARTICLE...I GOT MANY INFORMATION ABOUT RUDHRAKSHA BY THIS...
1) Bhadraksha is also a species of Rudraksha normally found in India or Srilanka which is cheaper than the rudraksha from nepal. These beads normally do not have a natural hole in it.
2) Gomati Chakra is a sort of shell which is used for spiritual and tantric rituals mainly. It is also worshipped on diwali day and is said to bring good health and wealth.
You can get all major mantras on my Blog http://lifegivingmantras.blogspot.com
Hi Anamika,
I gropped various means to get the right manthras of Rahu& Ketu for the effects that I have been facing from the month of October 2009. Finally (and fortunately) I got the mantras in this site and started chanting. Ever since there was a drastic change. My haed touches ground when I bow my head.
By the way, I have certain questions-
1)What is the difference between Rudraksha & Badraksha?
2) What is Gomti chakra?
I got this when I purchased a magazine called Shaivism.
Eagerly waiting for your reply
Thanks
Murugan
Thanks for the Visit. You can find the information here.
Thank you enlightening about Rudrakchya. How to find out real one from the fake? The shop keepers in Pashupati temple in Nepal say if it does not float on water it is real one (or the other way around I do not remember exactly). Is that correct?
It should for those who are using it as a remedy for BP or nervousness. Because all that person is required to do is Dipping a couple of raw 5 mukhi beads in water after sunset and drinking the water early morning on empty stomach for controlling blood pressure. 5 Mukhi is very effective in controlling sudden nervousness as well. One should hold a big 5 mukhi rudraksha bead tightly on the right palm for a few minutes to find the confidence lifting up miraculously and body warming up. Other than that I would not recommend a Rudraksha to be worn by a non beleaver.
Thanks for the visit.
Hi Anamika,
I know about the power of Gems and stones. They work on non believers and believers alike.
Is it same for Rudraksha? Do they work on non believers the way it works on those who believe in Rudraksha?
