Lord Ganesha Mantra and Prayer

Lord Ganesha , son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, is worshiped in Hindu Religion as the god of beginnings, knowledge, wisdom, intellect and remover of obstacles. One always starts any prayer, ritual or occasion by worshiping the Beloved Elephant God. Lord Ganesh blessings are also sought before starting any new venture. Lord Ganesha is also referred to as Ganapati, Gajanana, Vinayaka, Vighneshawar and Pillaiyar. Ganesh Mantras can be found in the Ganesh Puran /Ganapati Upanishad.

One of my favorite Prayers of Shri Ganesha is

"Vakratunda Mahaakaaya Suryakotee Sama Prabha

Nirvighnam kuru mey Deva

Sarva kaaryeshu Sarvadaa"

Meaning

O Lord Ganesha who has a large body, curved trunk and brightness of a million suns, please remove all obstacles in my work always.

My dearest Anamika...

I´m so happy I stopped by! Lately I have been working with mantras. I´ve become more involved with them, listening to many of them daily, as I go to work, and at my work place since I work with Feng Shui, but share a lot Mantra sounds with my friends and visitors. OM Mani Padme Hum, OM Shanti, OM Namaha Shivaya, OM Tat Sat, OM Bhagavate; are among my favorites. I Cherish Lord Ganesha´s, Lord Shiva and Beloved Lakshmi so very much!I´d love to have a Rudraksha Bead... I shall ask it to Lord Ganesha himself...

Rated up useful and beautiful!

Warmest hugs and infinite blessings from Brahma,

@pinky Aum Vakratundaya Hum (pronounced Ohm Vah-krah-TOON-die-yah Hoom' is a powerful mantra given in the Ganesha Purana. Vakratundaya means 'one with a broken tusk. It is a mantra asking Lord Ganesh to straighten the problems fast. If you are in a complicated and negative situation, chanting this mantra can help. This mantra is also a healing mantra for curing spinal deficiencies. You can chant in multiples of 108 after doing Pranayama to relax the mind for 45 days same place and time daily with utmost devotion .Try to associate the Japa with the rhythm of the breath and visualize Ganesh with the crooked tusk as you do so. You can find the video of the mantra in this Hub.

To get desires fulfilled start practicing positive affirmations related to what your wish is and put the power of subconscious mind into use by visualizing that your dream is already fulfilled. So it religiously for 45 days, first thing in the morning and last thing at night and take positive steps towards attaining your goal. Ganesh Vashikaran Mantra is a mantra for wish fulfillment. However, I never needed such mantras, so I have not bothered to know or learn it.
