When I hear the term 'freelancing jobs', the image that comes into my mind are work at home moms and students, elders or disabled people who make a living or supplementing their income by doing freelance assignments on the Internet or outside. In simple terms a freelancer is a person who is self employed or working for himself. One need not be a Writer to work as a freelancer. There are a wide variety of freelance work options available for people who want to work as freelancers. They can choose the jobs based on interest or knowledge level.

Freelancing allows you to work when you want and maybe even where you want. You can work at the comfort of your home or take your laptop to work outside or work late at night or early in the morning. You can work at your own pace and decide between full time or part time freelance jobs. Nobody would question you if you take a long lunch break or watch your favorite TV Channel or listen to some music in between your work.
